GTOPs 2016 Funding Available!

The City of Austin is pleased to announce Grant funding to area organizations that foster digital inclusion is now available through the Grant for Technology Opportunities Program (GTOPs).

The Goals of GTOPs 2016 include:

  • Provide public access to computers and information technology, especially among underserved segments of our community.
  • Provide information technology literacy, education, and training.
  • Use information and communication technologies in innovative ways to serve the Austin community.
  • Address the 2014 Digital Inclusion Strategic Plan Goals.


Additionally, the City is seeking volunteers to serve as grant reviewers on the Grant for Technology Opportunities Program Review Board that will determine which programs will share in this fiscal year’s funding.

Grants totaling $200,000 will be awarded in this 16th year of the program. Non-profits serving Austin residents are eligible to apply for funding in the range of $10,000 to $25,000.
